Great format for selling, buyer pays postage so you get to keep all of your earnings.
I have only been on Vinted for a week and got recommended by a friend to try it out as he knew I wasn’t having much luck selling my items on another platform and so far I have sold £50 worth of stuff in only a week.
Would recommend Vinted to everyone as it is hassle free.

I love vinted, it’s so easy to use + feels good that we can recycle our clothes as a society, without having to pay any extra fees! It’s safe to use, nobody gets paid until item arrives which makes the process even faster as things get shipped quicker! Great platform 💚

Really easy upload process. I sold 7 items within the first 24 hours which made for a busy posting day! Only downside to that is a lot of notifications/emails for each parcel - around 4 per order which made keeping track of things a little difficult. However, unlikely to sell that amount in one go again. Would recommend to anyone wanting to get rid of clothes/items they no longer wear or use!

Nice easy place to list with no seller fees unlike another big site, so you know what price you put up is what you will get.
Although most of my stuff has been toys, retro games, etc, so there is definitely people looking for those on Vinted and I can see that becoming even more popular.
It would be good when the categories expand a bit for those type of items, but other than that it's been easy to use so far.
The automatic feedback is a great idea, as hardly anyone bothers on certain other sites!

Completely addictive. Have managed to sell loads recently (not managed to NOT buy stuff though!) You’re essentially swapping your unwanted stuff for other people’s lovely things.
The app is ace, so easy to use.
One word of warning, beware scammers. I was almost caught out purely because it was my very first selling experience. If anyone tries to direct you away from the app, do not trust them. Contacted help and they were fast and very helpful. All in all, 5 stars for Vinted. It’s absolutely fab!

I have purchased several items off vinted with no issues. However I've put 4 stars not 5 as I messaged 2 different people about Garmin watches. I knew it was too good to be true the price they were advertised at, as soon as I'd messaged with questions both watches were suddenly removed! So be careful people!!

The site is very strongly bias towards the sellers. You pay so called “Buyers Protection” fee as a buyer with each purchase, but if there is a problem and you have been scammed by a seller, the Vinted team is not interested and you are left without promised goods or money. They collect money from sales and do not work as an arbiter if anything goes wrong. Bewere.

If there is zero star or -1 that would be the best for those clowns at Vinted. Their platform gives one option and you have to proceed with it and then when you complain, they block you so no official complaint can be submitted and refuse to give their email. The platform also doesn’t update on actions taken and they tell you to deal with other parties directly, which is something you pay them to do. Absolutely not recommended. Closing my account with clowns asap

Vinted is fabulous! I had hesitated to begin selling but needn’t have worried. The process is very simple and I am now keen for more of my rarely-worn clothes and accessories to find a new home.

All is fine, until it isn't. I bought a pair of shoes, didn't arrive in a box and without any padding so they arrived crushed, that's not the worst thing - I have to pay to return them!!!!!!!!. Shocking almost non-existent and couldn't care less about customer service. Why am I paying an extra fee to get absolutely nothing in return? Back to eBay for me.

Better for selling, not so much for buying. Rates on purchases are unrealistic.
Selling can be questionable to an extent, as this appears to slow down and i can't help but think they tempt you to 'bump' items, also at unrealistic costs!

They removed my offer as according to them the offer was duplicated even if I never published the same item - after 2 days they replied they had an error 🤣
Customer service useless as they never read what the issue is - they have some Key words and all they do is copy and paste from their rules even if this has nothing to do with issue.
I wish to give them -5 stairs

Perhaps the worst customer service I've ever come across. I bought a pair of £100 boots, they were delivered by Yodel to my bin, and then were stolen. Vinted required me to fill out a form by hand and print and scan it, then added requirements that weren't in the instructions, all the time giving me 24 hours per instruction or "the case will be closed". Once I'd jumped through all the hoops, they then made me wait a week and decided "No, sorry" and closed the case. Fuming!

The final sale to this lady went well. But we are both fairly new to online sales and VINTED and weren't sure how l could accept her lower offer and go ahead with the sale.It would be useful if you printed a page of usual questions asked by members and clear answers to these...Also lots of people have Likened my item's, but writing to each of them takes me ages on my old tablet. It would be helpful if l could forward the message l had already sent about that item to the next person who likened it! And save me lots of time and trouble, especially as most do not bother to even respond!

Bought an item - it was item that got lost in the post and VINTED REFUSE to refund me. Lie after lie first saying they have to wait for contact back from Evri - that went on for weeks. Then when I get Evri to investigate myself and obtain the proof of of loss myself I then get given a different reason as to why they can’t refund me. Absolute daylight robbery dreadful customer service

It's great! Never sold anything online before and what I found perfect is:
1. Easy to use (your advert, is online in a blink of an eye, Ebay's system gives me headache, true story :D )
2. Good looking (a relaxing green logo) website with a pleasant browsing experience (Again that Yellow, blue, and red everywhere of Ebay is annoying and triggers my OCD :D)
3. It follows you step by step and keep you posted and gives you super clear instructions about what to do next ect.

Vinted makes it really easy for you to upload and list any item, and you instantly get views on your selling item which makes it easier for you to sell it. For example I uploaded some Lego figures and within 5 minutes someone was interested, and they ended up buy some figures for £45. Vinted it great.

Very useless customer service. if you are careful and always check who you are buying from and their reviews, you will most likely be happy with your purchases. But absolutely useless and incompetent customer service, they don't care if there is an issue, they follow their guides like monkeys, if you have issue they don't know how to solve, you will not get any help. The idea of thia selling and buying app is great, but they need to sort out their stuff.

I’ll be honest, I was initially sceptical about the whole pre loved offering. I downloaded the app, then deleted it but then re downloaded and fell in love. Lots of cool quirky clothes on here and most of the sellers are amazing. There are some scammers on there but if you do your due diligence, you’ll be fine. A great app to download.
