Ordered nested lists on github display with numbers -> lowercase numerals -> letters (the same is true for vscode GFM markdown preview plugins):
Publishing to github pages without config, layout, etc., outputs the same with the default pages theme:
But using a different theme or custom layouts outputs basic markdown. This is simply adding _layouts/default.html which just contains {{ content }}:
I searched and search and couldn't find anything about this. Is there a gem or other method for outputting the same nested list numbering outside of the default pages deployment?
