When I renewed my application a few weeks ago it did the same.
I thought I'd just wait a few days and maybe I would get an email about my application but as of now I haven't heard anything back.
No confirmation, no refusal, absolutely nothing at all.

I tried again today and again I faced the same issue. Progress bar goes to 100% then the page is refreshed with no infications if it worked or not.

EDIT :
I tried again and monitored the network tab. It appears that the requests for confirmation of the application are being redirected with a HTTP 302 code. The last 4 requests in this screenshot all have the same HTTP 302 code.

EDIT 2 :
I tried a third time today while monitoring the network tab and the console. This time it worked and the page showed confirmation that the request worked.
I don't know what changed because I did everything exactly the same as before.
Upon inspection of the networking tab, it seems now that the confirmation request is working as it should with an HTTP 200 code instead of the 302 code before.

I will now wait to see if it actually worked when I received a confirmation/rejection email from Github.

I hope this issue gets looked into soon for everyone else.

Finally, I just got an email saying that my application has been accepted. It seems to have worked somehow even though I have not received a confirmation email of succesful application submission.

Hope this will get looked into for everyone else or that you succeed in submitting your application.

My issue seems to be fixed, they reviewed my application and gave me GitHub pro account

Same Issue here. It just doesn't work

In my case, I was attempting with my student ID. I wasn't able to, until I noticed this and this, I then scanned both side of the student ID on the same picture, and played around with the saturation, shadow and contrast, to make the name and expired date more "popped out", then I got to this page. I notice the proof type button is also missing, but doesn't seems to be affecting the process.

I encountered a similar case.
In my case, monitoring the browser console showed "Payload Too Large".
So I reduced the size of the uploaded image to 674KB and it worked.
I received an email from "edu-noreply@github.com" when it was submitted correctly.
