libreelec simply does not see the file. I don't even know what the problem could be. I'll try to think about a solution to the problem in the morning. Maybe I'll try to recompile it myself

The problem with Libreelec is that my VM has already reached its disk limit and is taking up about 60GB with the precompiled Libreelec cache for RPi4 and x64 add-ons. The build is very simple, all you need is a desktop or virtual machine and it takes about a few hours to complete. The next build will be much faster because the cache already exists so I never clear the cache for RPi4 and x64. Yes, that confused me too. It seems that the main problem does not lie in any changes in Libreelec itself, but because they changed the architecture from arm to aarch64, so the add-on needs to be recompiled for Libreelec 12 beta anyway. When a stable version is released, I will update the add-ons.

Sorry for being offtopic and asking here instead of creating a new topic, but I have a couple of questions:

1. What is the main difference between WS281x and SK, which you recommended in another topic?
2. Why is it better to use a microcontroller as a tape controller, rather than the Raspberry Pi itself?
3. And why use a logic level converter? My tape works fine at 3.3V

1 rgbw cold white is providing much better white/gray reproduction than RGB without shift toward blue.
2 it's in the faq. Beside since RPi 5 and breaking changes in the hardware it doesn't work anymore so it's the end of the story anyway.
3 it's a matter of luck because I've never seen official spec for Neopixel LED strip that allows 3.3v. But sometimes it may work (ex if the led power supply provides lower than 5v voltage...but the voltage tends to fluctuate). Or it doesn't work stable eg. like in the recent topic here regarding webos led driver: #829
