I'm trying to build badge-maker for the web but seems that is not possible because char-width-table-consumer depends on fs and util Node.js modules. It would be possible to get rid of them?

I suspect there is a way round it, but this is really something that needs to be addressed in https://github.com/metabolize/anafanafo

In general, I agree it would be desirable if badge-maker can work in the browser.

Looking at the source code seems that badge-maker is not even using the Node.js APIs.
